Matamata Timber & Hardware is one of them. Based in the heart of the Waikato, they've stocked Mitchpine merch boards for the last few years and have recently started supplying fencers with bundles of our posts for bigger jobs. We asked them how it's going…

Tell us about your store - location, region, and how long you've used Mitchpine products.

Matamata Timber & Hardware is located in the town of Matamata in the middle of the Waikato region.

We supply Builders, Fencers, Farmers and DIYers all over the Waikato, South Waikato and Bay of plenty

We have used Mitchpine merch boards for the last few years with great feedback and have recently been supplying fencers with bundles of posts for bigger jobs also with great feedback about the uniformity and how straight they are.

What helps you choose Mitchpine products?

The quality of the product is exceptional, pricing is bang on and feedback from customers is good.

How do you find the ordering and supply process - reliability, lead times, communication?

Ordering process is easy and will be even more streamlined with the new portal set up.

Lead times and supply is excellent. If you haven't got something it generally means there is a shortage throughout the country and nobody has anything.

Communication is always easy with Amanda answering the phone and getting back to us about whatever we might be looking for.

What feedback do you have about the quality of the products?

Excellent feedback on how clean the merch is and also having set lengths where possible makes it easy for customers to work out spacings etc for their jobs.

The posts that have been used on the latest projects have had really good feedback on the straightness and uniformity throughout the entire bundle.

One customer even called us to make sure he wasn't going to get charged more for the more uniform posts.
